December 9, 2013 — In its hazardous weather outlook last night, the National Weather Service office in Chicago said light freezing drizzle was likely for Greater Chicago, including Northwest Indiana, early today.

It says the area would experience wind chill values near 15 degrees below zero in some areas tonight into early Tuesday.

The Weather Service lists the outside air temperatures at or below freezing through the entire week.

Indiana's Department of Transportation said early this morning that roads in northern and central Indiana had "normal" conditions.
