Fourth Suspect In Flight Attendant Murder

December 26, 2014 — Lakeshore Public Media staff — A fourth area teenager is accused of helping transport the body of a United Airlines flight attendant from her Crown Point home to dispose of it in Gary.

Court records show 17-year-old De’Shawn Fuller of Merrillville faces a felony charge of assisting a criminal in the homicide of DeCarol Deloney-Cain.

Deloney-Cain’s daughter, 17-year-old Alyssa Barrett and the teen’s boyfriend, 19-year-old Damarius McGriggs are already charged with murder and robbery resulting in serious bodily injury.  Barrett is scheduled to stand trial on Jan. 26th.

18-year-old Nathaniel Porter of Merrillville also is facing a charge of assisting a criminal. The charge against Porter is pending.
