We’re going to spend some time talking about life of former Indiana Congressman Andy Jacobs. His long career included helping to write the 1965 Voting Rights Act but he was best known for the way he connected with people across the political spectrum.

The Army Corp’s Asian Carp plan may have hit a snag. We’ll find out if the electronic barriers in the Chicago River can really hold back the tide.

We’ll also replay Host Steve Walsh’s interview with Danny Schechter, the author and documentary film maker, whose latest book on Nelson Mandela is the companion to the film Long Walk to Freedom.
