September 29, 2014 — The Associated Press — More flights are moving thru O’Hare and Midway Airports after last week’s deliberately-set fire at an FAA control center.

The FAA says departing and arriving flights at O’Hare International Airport were around 60-percent capacity yesterday and at 75-percent at Midway Airport.  The FAA brought in technicians from around the country to speed up the repairs at the center in Aurora. The first shipment of replacement equipment was scheduled to arrive late last night, with more deliveries expected over the next few days.

The “Times” reports that the suspect in the FAA center fire, 36-year-old contract employee Brian Howard, is a 1996 graduate of Highland High School.
