FIGHTING IRISH TO PLAY WEEKEND SERIES AT U.S. STEEL YARD
GARY, IN- The University of Notre Dame will turn the U.S. Steel Yard into their home field this weekend with three games vs. Northeastern University.
The Fighting Irish (16-23), winners of six of their last nine games, will open the non-conference series vs. their Colonial Athletic Association opponent on Friday, April 25th at 6:05 pm followed by a 2:05 pm game on Saturday, April 26th. The series will conclude with another matinee vs. the Huskies (16-21) on Sunday, April 27th at 1:05 pm.
“ We’re excited about the opportunity to play in a great venue in the U.S. Steel Yard,” said Notre Dame head baseball coach Mikio Aoki. “We are grateful to the RailCats and Salvi Sports for opening up their stadium to us and we’re looking forward to the games we will be playing there.”
Gates will open one hour prior to first pitch.
