Dreesen Keeps Sinatra On-stage in Spirit & Memories
October 2013 — For 14 years Greater Chicago’s Tom Dreesen served as the opening act for iconic singer Frank Sinatra.
The Harvey, Illinois comedian accompanied Sinatra around the country and the world, becoming close friends with Sinatra and the legendary Rat Pack of high-powered entertainers. Though Sinatra is gone, Dreesen is traveling the country performing a one-man show titled, “An Evening of Laughter and Memories of Frank Sinatra.”
Lakeshore News anchor Jodi Juhl shares her series of interviews with Dreesen about his amazing career and the life and times of Frank Sinatra.
They talked about how Dreesen paired with Sinatra after an appearance on Johnny Carson’s show, meeting him through Sammy Davis, Jr. and a lawyer.
