VanDenburgh Becoming More Opposed to Marriage Amendment

With just two weeks until the beginning of the 2014 Indiana legislative session lawmakers are targeting issues they want to see addressed by the state’s General Assembly.
One piece of legislation originally introduced in 2011 is expected to be heavily debated again next year. HJR-6 is a proposed amendment to Indiana’s constitution regarding same–gender marriage and civil unions.
The Lakeshore’s Sarah Holst recently sat down with State Representative Shelli VanDenburgh of Crown Point to talk about the legislation and what it could mean for Indiana.
