Daylight Saving Time “Fall Back” Sunday
November 1, 2013 — We’ll be “falling back” this weekend. Clocks have to get reset in Indiana, changing times for sunrise and sunset.
The daylight saving time adjustment officially occurs at 2 a.m. Sunday when clocks get set back an hour.
The change causes an earlier time for sunrise from 6:23 a.m. Saturday to 5:24 a.m. Sunday, and sunset will start occurring before 5 p.m. next week.
The State Fire Marshal also urges Hoosiers to change smoke alarm batteries with the time change.
