October 21, 2013 – Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is expected to miss at least 4 weeks due to a strained groin. Cutler left the field under his own power during the 2nd quarter of Sunday’s 45-41 loss at Washington, after being sacked.

Josh McCown came in as the back-up to Cutler for the remainder of the game. In 2011 McCown started the last two games of the regular season after Cutler was lost due to a broken thumb.

The Bears are heading into their bye week with a 4-3 record.
