The Crisis Center hosts its 18th annual Wine Fest, Live & Silent Auction on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Sand Creek Country Club in Chesterton, Indiana.

More than 600 people attended the event last year which featured 250 silent auction items, gourmet food, and fine wine and beer. All proceeds from “Northwest Indiana’s Biggest Night” benefit the Crisis Center’s multi-faceted crisis intervention and prevention programs for children, adults, and families.

Over the course of 42 years in operation, an estimated 270,000 individuals have received the tools and resources to improve the quality of their lives. Crisis Center services include the Safe Place outreach program; the Alternative House emergency shelter; Teen Court youth development and delinquency prevention; and Crisis Contact—a crisis and suicide prevention hot line and designated call-center for the national Lifeline network.
