Crash Claimed Hoosier Life on I-65
July 31, 2013 — The Lake County Coroner’s Office says a 52-year-old Monon, Indiana man died in a crash on Interstate 65 near Lowell today.
It says Jim Uildriks died of blunt force injuries to his head and body in vehicle wreckage on the north bound lanes of I-65 at mile 238. Indiana State Police say Uildriks was one of the drivers in a crash just after 6:00 a.m. involving two semi-trucks and a passenger vehicle.
ISP says the incident caused the closure of all lanes of I-65 north bound because one of the trucks was on top of the passenger car.
The coroner’s record shows Uildriks was pronounced dead at seven-10 a.m.
