Abandoned homes will come down after an influx of federal money, after the announcement that Hammond, East Chicago and Gary will each receive millions in federal dollars.

We also look at some major changes and a major award for the Purdue Tech Parks throughout the state. The research centers have become – not only a hub for innovation – but a large employer for Northwest Indiana and the state, despite some recent cutbacks.

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence will be in Lake County tomorrow to sell his plan to expand health insurance coverage. We look back at the debut of Healthy Indiana 2.0.
