CHESS RECORDS LEGEND BOBBY RUSH TALKS THE BLUES
Chicago’s Chess Records was the birthplace of many blues and rock legends — Howlin’ Wolf, Etta James, Willie Dixon, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Koko Taylor, Junior Wells,, Buddy Guy, and Muddy Waters — to name some of the best. Bluesman BOBBY RUSH was there alongside of them and he’s still going strong. Bobby talks with Midwest BEAT show host Tom Lounges about his Chess memories, the state of the blues, and his new album. Plenty of Bobby’s new tunes are heard during this program too! A show no blues music fan should miss.
