Casual Fridays – February 20th, 2015
On this week’s jam-packed Casual Fridays, Jerry tackles the drama that’s playing out over the strikes at BP. Both sides are being rather vocal about their positions – from the workers demanding safer conditions, to BP saying everything is up to code. Jerry parses through all of the talking points and voice mails to try and figure what’s REALLY going on.
Speaking of voice mails: every week Jerry gets a few…thousand. Okay, maybe not THAT many, but he does get quite a lot. This week, we play a chunk of the best voice mails from the inbox. The topics range from the Post Tribune Quicklies column, to even a potential racial misunderstanding, and more. Perhaps you’ll hear your call to Jerry, eh?
Later in the show we talk with the mayor of Portage, James Snyder, about transparency in the government coffers. And to wrap it all up, Karen breaks down this year’s Oscar nominees with our engineer, Eric.
