Casual Fridays – December 5th, 2014
It’s Casual Friday time! On today’s show, Jerry and Karen chat with Dana Zivkovich, an elder care attorney who started a restaurant-review group of more than 130 fellow attorneys called the “Friendly Solos.” They meet each month at a different restaurant in the Chicagoland area and send in their restaurant reviews. (Think of it as “Check, Please!” but with legal-eagle networking…) Dana will tell us how she started the group, why, and how Lakeshore listeners can benefit from their reviews.
And we chat with an organizer of the “7th Annual Toy Drive” to benefit St. Jude House.” Taking place Saturday night at 6:00pm, at Sopranos Lounge in Griffith. The goal is to raise enough toys to last St. Jude House the entire year, beyond the holidays and we’ll tell you how to help the cause.
We’ll also play a sampling of YOUR voice mail calls to us in a segment we call, “Are you calling ME?” Maybe you’ll hear YOUR call to Jerry. And if you found a lost wallet, with cash inside, what would YOU do? We’ll tell you what one region resident did, and why he contacted Jerry for help.
