Bulls Try To Even Up Series Tonight Against Nets

Share Tweet Email
After getting beaten around by the Brooklyn Nets, 106-89, on Saturday, the Bulls are in Brooklyn, tonight at 7 for game 2 of their best-of-seven series. Brooklyn has now won 7 of their last 8 games, overall, and lead the series 1-0.

The Bulls, who are still banged up with injuries, will again be without Derrick Rose, who’s not expected to be back until the preseason for ’13-’14. Joakim Noah is expected to start, though it’s unsure how much of a factor he’ll be due to his lingering right foot injury.

For as good as the Bulls’ defense had been this season, they allowed the Nets to shoot 56% from the floor, and Brooklyn had 6 players in double figures scoring. This is the Nets first playoff appearance since 2007, and they’re going for their first 2-0 series lead since 2004.
