Breast Cancer Awareness More Than a Month
October 8, 2013 — For more than 25 years October has been designated National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the United States. Though still the second leading cause of cancer fatalities in women, breast cancer deaths have been declining since about 1989 thanks to greater awareness and early detection.
