Big-play Butler helping Colts

December 19, 2013 (AP) – Cornerback Darius Butler has a knack for making big plays.

He has picked off four passes this season, and has eight overall since joining the Colts as a free agent last year. He’s taken three of them back for touchdowns.

Butler played a big role in helping the Colts (9-5) pull away in a 25-3 win over Houston last week. Now the task turns to trying to contain the league’s third-highest scoring offense when Indy goes to Kansas City (11-3) on Sunday.

Butler had a 32-yard interception return a year ago against the Chiefs to give the Colts an early lead and Indy never trailed in that game.
