Berlin’s Terri Nunn Goes “ANIMAL” on Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges
This edition of “Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges” originally aired on Tuesday, June 24,2014
MUSICAL GUEST: TERRI NUNN of BERLIN
It has been 30 years since her debut on the music scene as the voice and front woman of the Electro-Pop band, BERLIN, but TERRI NUNN shows no wear from the passing of time. She looks as sounds as good, perhaps even better than when she hit the music scene with songs like “Sex (I’m A…),” “Take My Breath Away” and “No More Words.”
Back with the seventh and latest BERLIN album — “ANIMAL” — Nunn is leading her band around the globe on a world tour that will run through the holidays.
Nunn is as bubbly and upbeat as the music she writes while sharing great stories from her colorful career, including how Berlin nearly didn’t record their most famous tune and how watching her man do a strip-tease inspired one of their current radio hits from “Animal.”
This was a really enjoyable interview with a really charming and charismatic icon of the electro-dance music scene.
