About the Contest

Lakeshore Public Media and Strack & Van Til are offering one lucky viewer the chance to host one sports segment on Lakeshore News Tonight‘s 10:00 p.m. broadcast in July.

Record a 3 minute mock sports segment and send it to bejoecontest@lakeshorepublicmedia.org by 12:00 p.m. on June 14.

Lakeshore Public Media will announce the finalists and post the videos to our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/LakeshorePTV, for the public to “like.” The voting period on Facebook runs from June 17 to June 26.

The winner will be announced July 1.

All videos submitted become property of Lakeshore Public Media and may be used in the public domain and for promotional purposes. Videos must be done in good taste and adhere to broadcast standards. Final decision of the winning video will be at the sole discretion of Lakeshore Public Media.

Watch Lakeshore News Tonight weeknights at 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Lakeshore News Tonight is seen on channel 56 over the air, on Dish Network and DirecTV. For Comcast viewers, Lakeshore News Tonight is seen on channel 17 and 239HD.
