November 25, 2013 — Thanksgiving holidays tend to involve family, food, friends and potentially fraud.

Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson is advising Hoosiers to be careful consumers as they participate in holiday shopping, which can induce quick purchases, debt, and transactions that leave buyers as victims of scams.

The Better Business Bureau is a fair business monitoring organization, and its Northwest Indiana Area Director Connie Kann visited Lakeshore News Tonight to discuss the BBB and retail behaviors during the holidays.
