Share Tweet Email

The four lads are back! Come out and celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend with American English and Lakeshore Public Media.

American English will take to the stage on Friday, February 13th, at 8 PM, at the Star Plaza Theatre in Merrillville, IN. Covering the entire career span of The Beatles, from 1963-1970, American English has been awarded the “Best Tribute Band” from 2007 through 2012 by nitelife.org as well as the “Best Beatles Tribute Band” in 2012 by Chicago Rocker Awards.

Their demand here and abroad, coupled with their spectacular fan base, has anchored them into a professional setting, and launched them into larger venues and theatres worldwide. American English has shared the stage with musical headliners such as The Grassroots, The Neville Brothers, Three Dog Night, The Ides of March, Eric Burdon, The Buckinghams, The Doobie Bros., Badfinger, Gary Senise’s Lieutenant Dan Band, and many others.

American English is the only Beatle act to have ever performed concerts accompanied by Denny Laine, co-founder of Wings, and the original Wings horn section, featuring Howie Casey, Thaddeus Richard and Steve Howard. Recently, they have all joined forces to put on special concerts around the world. This unprecedented merging of talent begins with American English as The Beatles and closes with an incredible tribute to Paul McCartney and Wings.

American English is the best Beatle show on the planet! They are The Beatles incarnate!” – Sam Leach, original promoter of the Beatles and founder of the Merseybeat movement and author of “The Birth of the Beatles”

They’re incredible! It’s like virtual reality. By the end of the show, I actually felt sad, feeling the breakup of The Beatles all over again.” – Denny Laine of “Wings”

American English is the best Beatle act since The Beatles!!!” – Dick Biondi, legendary rock n’ roll DJ who introduced the Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl and Comiskey Park
