September 6, 2013 — An amber alert is over for an Illinois teenager and an Indiana suspect whom police found in Missouri.

The Champaign, Illinois police department had requested a child abduction emergency be issued today as an amber alert for 13-year-old Cleo M. Younce after they confirmed her abduction in Champaign yesterday at 3:24 p.m.

Police say the suspect is 21-year-old Nicholas R. Hurley, a white man, 6 foot 8 inches, 295 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes and glasses, who’d used a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban with an Indiana license plate.

Police say they were told that after Cleo left her home to go for a walk yesterday, she contacted her mother by telephone and informed her of the abduction.  Police say Hurley is from Daleville, Indiana, acquainted to Younce through family friends.
