ACLU And Indiana Couples Challenges Indiana’s Same Sex Marriage Ban

State Sen. Tim Lanane, leader of the Senate Democrats, breaks down this session of the Indiana General Assembly, including the bills headed to the governor’s desk. Host Steve Walsh also gets his reaction to today’s announcement of a big drop in the state’s unemployment rate.
The ACLU of Indiana is challenging Indiana’s current ban on same sex marriage. They filed the suit on behalf of Indiana same sex couples married in other states, who were denied benefits in the Hoosier state. We talk to the head of the organization and members of two Indiana couples.
