Indianapolis native Abdul-Rahman Kassig — also known as Peter — was adopted as a newborn by Paula and Ed Kassig, but formed a close bond with his birth mother.  He sought out Rhonda Schwindt and his siblings Jana and Sam once he turned 18.  Now, that second family is struggling to deal with the 26-year-old aid worker’s murder at the hands of ISIS.
