NIPSCO Asks To Pass Along Cost of Pollution Projects To Customers

NIPSCO is petitioning the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission for permission to pass along to customers the cost of $59.2 million in environmental projects. The projects are designed to clean up mercury and particulate emissions at its Schahfer, Bailly and Michigan City generating stations. The Lakeshore’s Steve Walsh talked to Kathleen Szot, the utility’s spokesperson for the project.
